The Slaying of Paris

28 11 2007

The Greeks and the Trojans were having a big war and Paris was standing up on a wall shooting arrows at people. A Greek soldier saw Paris shooting people and hated him because Paris had killed Achilles. So, he fitted a poisoned arrow to his bow and shot Paris, it only grazed his hand but he still got poisoned.

Nabis: The Tyrant

12 11 2007

Nabis was a man who really really wanted gold, so, he invented a few disgustorous ways to get peoples money. One of the most clever(but disgusterous) ways to, was to first be very very over-polite and then ask them nicely if they would give Nabis all his money. And then if they said no, take them to see a statue which had springs in it, then when the unfortunate man was close enough, the statue would move and put its arms around him, very tightly. On the other side of the statues arms, there were sharp knifish things that cut into the man, and then, if the man still refused then he would slowly bleed to death. :)
