Proof From the Sky

Albert and Elsa and their two boys moved into an apartment in Berlin, Albert had a large study there where know one was allowed to disturb him. Albert always disliked having to dress up when guests came over for dinner. But sometimes he got some fun when they came over. Once they bet he couldn’t take his vest off without taking his coat off first, after twisting and turning he pulled it out of his sleeve!! He always liked to play his violin and think, sometimes the answer to a problem would come to him in the middle of a song. Then he would go around telling everybody that he had solved the problem. Elsa, his wive also had a sense of humor she always liked to call him ‘the genius’ “What would the genius like for dinner?”

Alberts New Job

Albert’s new job was, working at the patent office, looking at plans for new cameras or improved popguns. Often, between inventions, he would pull out some blank paper and scribble down some of his ideas, but when his boss walked past he would shove it into his desk. Shortly after he started his knew job his life changed dramaticaly(?) his father died and he got married to Mileva.

The Secrets of the Universe

Albert thought of a theory called the Theory of Relativity. He discovered that if you put a toy car that is travelling 2 miles an hour on a train that is traveling 100 miles an hour the car will travel 102 miles an hour. He also found out that if a beam of light such as a torch was put on a train moving 100 miles an hour, the light would not move any faster. The speed of light never changes. The next five weeks of Albert’s life were filled with thinking and planning.
