Paul and Silas in Jail

Paul and Silas got thrown in jail because they did stuff the Jews didn’t like. In the middle of the night when Paul and Silas were singing hymns and praying, there was a big earthquake and all the doors flew open and the chains fell off!! Then the jailer woke up and was going to kill himself because he thought all the prisoners had all run away. Then Paul and Silas called out to him that they were still all there, then, the jailer and his family were baptized and Paul and Silas were releases and they lived happily…… ever…… after!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Paul on the Island of Malta

When Paul was safe on the Island he learned that the island was called Malta, the natives were very friendly to him and made a fire to warm them. When Peter gathered some sticks to put on the fire a poisonous snake, drawn out by the heat came out and bit his hand, Peter shook it off into the fire while everyone waited for him to swell up or die, he didn’t, so the natives decided he was a God because he also went around healing people.

Cain Murders Abel

Eve became pregnant and she gave birth to Cain and Abel. When Cain grew up he had a farm and when Abel grew up, he was a herdsman. So when harvest time came, Abel brought some of his choicest lambs as an offering to God, whereas, Cain brought some of his farm produce. God was very pleased with Abel’s offering but not so pleased with Cain’s, then Cain got very very very angry and jealous of Abel. Then he suggested that he and Abel go out into the field, when they got out there, he killed Abel. God punished him by banishing him from there, he also put a mark on him too show that no man could kill him.

Jesus Heals a Man Born Blind

Jesus and his disciples were walking along a road when they saw a man blind from birth, Jesus’ disciples asked Jesus why the man was born blind. Jesus said because it was Gods plan, then he spat on the ground and made some mud, and then he rubbed it into the mans eyes and told him to go wash it off. Then, when the man came back, he could see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Death of Stephen

Stephen’s enemies always did lots of stuff to get him into trouble, such as accusing of crimes he didn’t do. Once he told them that they had done bad stuff and should repent and they got really angry with him, then Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit said “Look, I see the heavens opened and Jesus sitting at the right hand of God” Then they went totally ballistic!! They covered their ears with their hands and drowned out his voice with their screaming and yelling, and then, they started to stone him. As he was being killed, Stephen asked God to recieve his spirit and not punish the people for the sin because they didn’t know what they were doing. Then……. he died.

Jesus Appears to Seven Disciples

After Jesus died he appeared to seven disciples, this is how it happened. Simon Peter said that he was goin’ fishin’ and some of the others came too, they fished allllll night and still didn’t catch anything. In the morning they saw Jesus standing on the shore, but of course, they didn’t know it was him. He called out to them to put the net on the other side of the boat and then they’d get plenty of fish, they obeyed and got lots and lots of them in the net. Then Simon Peter knew it was Jesus so he jumped out of the boat and swam ashore to him, when the other disciples brought the fish ashore they saw that a fire was going, and they all had fish and bread for breakfast.

Ananias and Sapphira

Ananias and his wife Sapphira sold a piece of property and gave part of the money to the disciples and and said that was the whole amount, his wife had also agreed to this deception. Then Peter said “Why did you lie? You chose to sell the property and give the money away, but when you gave it away  you kept back part of it and lied! You didn’t lie to us, you lied to God.”  Then when Ananias heard this he fell down and died and two men men came and took him away to bury him. A bit later his wife came there not knowing what had happened and Peter asked her if the money the gave him, was the full amount, she said yes and then peter gave her another talking to and then she died and the men came and took her away and buried her next to her husband.

Peter Heals a Lame Beggar

One day Peter and John went to pray at the temple, at the gate of the temple there was a lame beggar, crippled from birth. When they walked past him Peter said “Look at me!” The lame man looked at them, expecting to get a gift from them. Peter said that he had no money but he could give him something even better, then he healed the man so he could walk! The man went walking and running a leaping and shouting and jumping and praising God. All who saw him were astonished!

Jesus Send Out the Twelve Apostles

One day Jesus called together his disciples and gave them the power and authority to drive out demons and heal every disease. The he told them to go out and tell everyone about the coming of the Lord Jesus and heal the sick people. He instructed them not to bring a traveling bag or extra clothes or even any money, and when you enter the village, only stay in one house. Jesus also told them that if the people in the house would not listen then they should leaving, shaking the dust of the sandals before leaving, that was to show that that house was DOOMED!!!!

Jesus Predicts His Betrayal

Jesus was eating with his disciples when he said that one them was going to betray him, then they all started to wonder amongst themselves. Then Simon Peter motioned to one of the other disciples to ask Jesus who it was, then he did and Jesus said that the one he gave the bread dipped in sauce was the one. Then he dipped the bread and gave it to Judas, after he had finished eating it he got up and left. The other disciples thought he was just going to pay some bills or something, being the treasurer.

A Woman Caught in Adultery

When Jesus was teaching a crowd of people, a couple of Pharisee brought a woman who had been caught in adultery. The Pharisees said that the law of Moses said that they could stone her. The Pharisee were trying to trap him into saying something that they could use against him. Jesus said for them to, by all means, throw stones, but only people who had never sinned could. So, one by one, they moved away, until only Jesus and the woman were left. Jesus asked the woman “Were are your accusers? Didn’t even one of them condemn you?” She said no, then Jesus said for her to go and sin no more.

Jesus Raises a Widows Son

Jesus and his disciples were walking with a great crowd following them, when they saw a funeral procession. The boy who had died was the only son of a widow. When Jesus saw them he was filled with compassion, he walked over and said “Don’t cry” to the woman and touched the coffin. Then the boy sat up and started speaking to people!

The Rich Man and Lazarus

Lazarus was lying, diseased, at a rich mans door. He kept begging and begging for scraps off the rich mans table, but he didn’t give him any. So Lazarus died and went to heaven. And the rich man died and went to hell. In torment the rich man asked Abraham to send Lazarus to dip his finger in water and cool his tongue. But Abraham not only wouldn’t, he couldn’t. He wouldn’t, because when Lazarus was sick and dying, the rich man didn’t help him. And he couldn’t, because there was a great chasm between hell and heaven.

Jesus Heals Ten Lepers

Ten men who had leprosy were walking through a village Jesus was staying in, crying loudly.  Jesus went up to them and said for them to go show themselves to the priest for Jesus had healed them. Then, all except one, who was a Samaritan, went away, shouting “Whoopee were healed!!” The Samaritan who stayed behind, thanked Jesus for healing them and then went away. Jesus thought it was a bit….. you know, weird, that only one came back to thank him.

The Rich Man

Once, a rich man came to Jesus and asked him how he could get to heaven, Jesus said he just had to obey all the commandments and give all his riches to the poor. The rich guy got really sad because he had just gotten Lego Star Wars 2®. Jesus then turned to his disciples and said that it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to go to heaven. His disciples were astonished and asked how anyone can be saved, Jesus just said “Anything is possible with God.”

The Death of John the Baptist

Herod’s wife Herodias, hated John, she really wanted to kill him or something. However, Herod didn’t hate him, he actually liked to listen to him, and because of this, John was always under his protection. On Herod’s birthday, Herod’s daughter, also called Herodias, performed a dance that Herod really liked, so he said to her she could have anything she wanted, up to half his kingdom. She asked her mum, Herodias, what she should ask for. She said to ask for John the Baptist’s head. So she went and asked him, Herod didn’t want to do it, but he had said so, so he told an executioner to chop Johns head off and bring it to him.

The Temptation of Jesus

Jesus was led out to the wilderness by the Holy Spirit because the devil was going to tempt him, he ate nothing for forty days and forty nights and on the forty first day the devil came and to him “If you’re really the son of God then turn this rock into bread” Jesus said no, because people don’t only need bread to live. Then the devil took Jesus to the top of the temple and told him to jump off because he obviously wouldn’t die. From then on Jesus told people to turn from their sins to God for the kingdom of heaven is near.

Teaching about Love for Enemies

The law of Moses says that you should love your friends and hate your enemies, but God loves all people, the good and the bad. If you only like people who like you, what good is that? Only silly, corrupt people do that kind of things. Y’know?!? Well anyway, one day you will be perfect as God is. Don’t Condemn Others

You shouldn’t judge other people, because how can you take the speck out of someone else’s eye, when you have a big plank in your own? HYPOCRITE! First you have to get the plank in your own eye out first and then you can see about the speck in the other person’s eye

Jesus Walks on Water

After Jesus had fed the five thousand, his disciples got in a boat and sailed over to the other side of the lake. Jesus stayed where he was and he went up a mountain to pray. A big storm arose and to make things worse, later his disciples saw him walking on water to him and they totally freaked out but Jesus told them to to calm down because it was him. Peter said that just to make sure it was safe, he would walk out to him. When he walked out, he almost got to Jesus when he freaked out and started sinking, Jesus took his hand and pulled him up. A soon as they got into the boat the weather cleared up.

Story of the Wheat and the Weeds

Jesus told a story about a man who planted some wheat, and one night while he was sleeping an enemy came and planted weeds in the crop and when, the next day, the mans servants found them they asked what they should do with them, he said that they shouldn’t pull the weeds out then, because it would’ve damaged the wheat. But to wait for the wheat to be harvested then pull the weeds out of the wheat.

Story of the Farmer Scattering Seed

Jesus told a story about a man who scattered some seeds on his field, some fell on shallow soil but soon died because their roots were too short. Some fell on weeds and when they sprouted, the weeds drowned them. But some seeds fell on rich, fertile soil and when they grew they multiplyed lots and lots. This was what happened to the people, some of Jesus’ teaching fell on deaf ears, some went  through the ear of one person and out the other. But some of the rich, fertile ears and yeah.

Jesus Sends Out the 12 Apostles

Jesus called his disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out demons and heal people and stuff. Here are their names: Simon, Andrew, James, John, Philip, Bartholomew, Thomas, Matthew, James (again), Thaddeus, Simon (AGAIN!) And lastly………………….. Judas Iscariot *clap* *clap* *clap* *clap* *clap* Thank you! Thank you!

Jesus Calls Matthew

Jesus was walking along a road when he saw a tax collector called Matthew sitting at his tax collection booth. Jesus told Matthew to follow him, then Matthew got up and followed him. That night Matthew invited Jesus and his disciples to come to his place for dinner, when the Pharisees saw Jesus was eating with, er, rather dodgy people they didn’t think he was very good. When Jesus heard this he told them that healthy people don’t need a doctor, sick people do.

Jesus Heals a Paralyzed Man

Someone brought Jesus a paralyzed man, Jesus told the man his sins were forgiven. The Pharisees said saying he could forgive sins, was blasphemy. Then Jesus said for the paralyzed guy to pick up his mat and go home. (and he did!!)

Jesus Heals Many

When Jesus and his disciples went to Peter’s house, his mum had a fever so Jesus touched her hand and she got up and made them a meal. That evening, lots of sick people were brought to Jesus and he healed them all. This was to fulfill what Isaiah prophesied”He took up our infirmities and carried our diseases.”

Jesus Heals 2 Blind Men

When Jesus and his disciples were walking, two blind men walked up behind them and stared shouting and asking for him to make them see. Jesus asked them if they believed he could make them see, they said yes. Jesus healed them because they had faith.

Jesus Drives Out Some Demons.

Jesus and some of his disciples were walking on a road, on the road they met two demon-possessed men. They started screaming and stuff, so Jesus  drove the demons out and the demons went into a herd of pigs, the pig ran off a cliff into a lake and drowned. The shepherd who was looking after the pigs ran into town and told everyone about what he had seen, all the people were amazed except the pharisees. They said he could only command the demons because he was the king of demons.

Teaching about Salt and Light

We are the salt of the earth, but if salt loses its flavor it cannot be salty ever again. It has no use except to be thrown out and trampled by people(even though thats not really a use, but still!) you are the light of the world, like a big building covered with lights so all can see it, but a big building doesn’t turn of all its lights, instead it turns even more lights on! And so we should let our hearts shine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Teaching about Giving to the Needy

When you give to the needy, do not do it in public, do not shout “Hey look what I’m doing!” Like the hypocrites do in the synagogues and the streets for they have already recieved there rewards from men. But when you give to someone do it in secret, for the Father,who knows all secrets will reward you.

Story of the Three Servants

There was once a man who was going on a trip, he called his three servants together and entrusted 5 bags of gold to the first, 2 bags to the 2nd and 1 to the last. When he left, the first and the second went right to work and made double what they had gotten, but the other was afraid he would lose it and buried it in the ground. When the man got back from his trip he was very pleased with the first 2 servants and he treated them to Cold Rock® for dessert and gave them many more responsibilities, but he was displeased with the other one and fired him.

The Triumphal Entry

Jesus told his disciples that they would go into Bethphage, find a stable with a donkey with a colt beside it and they would bring the colt back to him. All this was fulfilled and when his disciples brought the young colt back they laid garments on it and Jesus sat on it and rode to the city when they got in the people got very excited. They cut of palm leafs and laid them on the ground others laid there coats down. They shouted ‘Praise God in the highest heaven. The whole of Jerusalem was stirred as he came. They asked ‘Who is this?’ The crowds replied ‘its Jesus the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee.’

The Most Important Command

Some of the Pharisees asked Jesus a Question “Teacher, What is the most important commandment?” He told them that the most important was the first, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your mind and all your soul,” The second is equally important “Love your neighbor as yourself,” All the other commandments and demands of the prophets are based on these two.

The Wedding Feast

Jesus told a story: once there was a king who had a wedding feast he invited a lot of rich people. He got all the food and stuff ready and then sent out his messengers to tell the guests that the feast was ready. When the guests saw the messengers they all either ignored them or killed them. When the king heard this he sent out his army to kill the murderers and burn their city. After he had done that he sent out his messengers to invite anyone, good or bad of the street to come to the feast. Soon the banquet hall was was full of guests.
